HAWKEYE NO.3

Senior Football

With the battle of the West fast approaching the Hawks are in great fighting spirit, coaches Dean and Adam have the boys in great shape.  At this stage we are 11/0 win/loss.  The welcome return of Micheal Franklin and players back from injury, see us at near full strength.

Without getting carried away the boys are looking the goods.  With discipline, determination and dedication, the side will go from strength to strength.  The hard running team, the flying Hawks are a force to be reckoned with.

The reserves are going along nicely, with the guidance of Christian and Dutto.  They are currently standing at 8/3 win/loss.

Juniors

Peter MacDonald and staff, coaches and helpers are having there fair share of success, all sides are looking good with the U12’s and the U16’s sure to play in the finals.  We still need help to run the juniors as we have a few people doing a lot of work.  With a little bit more help, our junior area will become highly successful.

Super Fools….(Oops) Rules

A night game at the Heathdale oval coming up on the 29th July, against Footscray, starting at 6.30pm.  While I was watching the home game against Carrum Downs, I couldn’t help noticing the assistant coaches in Werner and Murf and the Assistant Assistants’ coach in Piggy and the CEO in Yobbo guide the Hawks to victory.  A great day, a good crowd, beer and BBQ after the game and a great day for the canteen.  No one could have a better Sunday outing.  Senior coach Dean Comonsoli was keeping an eye on any prospective recruits.  The club mascot, No.3 was also in action.

Bar

Colin and Dags behind the bar are giving good service to all patrons, great range of beer and a variety of spirits and mixes; they make sure they cater for everyone in a great atmosphere.

Canteen

Jenny, Vicky, Joel and all the ladies make it a pleasure to go to the canteen with their friendliness.

President

Again I will say thank you David, committee and helpers for all the hard work that goes on unnoticed.  They make everyone feel welcome in a great family atmosphere.  It is an electric year around the club at the moment.
