2nd June 2007Glen Orden 12.14 86 def Altona 11.13 79

Seniors Win their second game of the Season... the boys played our old arch enemy on the weekend and we make no secret to the fact the a win over Altona was a must to help heal some old wounds. With the return of Toby,Benny, and Pottsy we fielded a team that we thought could do the job and they did. Lead by Kurt and disco and with Matty l and patty mull doing some great run with roles with some of the A's better players and shutting them out of the game.We head into the break with two wins and six losses and sitting eight on the league ladder. see ya after the break at st albans

26th May 2007Glen Orden 11.10 76 lost to Port Colts 28.18 186

19th May 2007 Glen Orden 12.16 88 def Parkside 10.17 77

Woo hoo we won one! Round 6 saw a first in the history of the club. The first ever win in 1st division, an acheviment that commo and i are very proud of. Although we know there is still alot of work to be done, but it put's us in the box seat to aviod going back to second divison, it was great to see number 10 back on the park, our capt boof and i think turned the game with a great smother early in the last , and then the little number 7 disco on his return running into a open goal and putting us in front. Craig wells was awsome across half back and again Travis Maloney done a power of work on the ball. Round 7 see's the hawks on the road this week of to the colts we go.

12th May 2007Glen Orden 7.4 46 lost to Hoppers 24.16 160

5th May 2007 Glen Orden 9.13 67 lost to Albion 21.18 144

28th April 2007Glen Orden 7.7 49 lost to Sunshine 24.17 161

The boys came to play today and with another late change, toby wright in and still no boofa and potsy. We were right in the hunt at half time. But another second half blow out saw the game taken from us in a dash. Best players where ference, draper & krual. Off to albion we go .....
21st April 2007 Round 2

A day we would like to forget about and move forward as quick as we can. With a team riddled with injury and then throw in four under 18 kids, we where a little under maned. But  it was a great day for the club with the seniors and reserves both unfurl there flag's from last year. Spotswood where far to big, fit and strong for us but with full credit to our boys they never gave up trying at any stage..... Fingers crossed we can start and get a few of the boys back on the paddock and start to gather some momentum.

14th April 2007 Glen Orden 8.9 57 lost to Seddon/Yarraville 19.17 131

Round one was finally here after a long pre season of training. The boys went into the game with alot of hype around the group. The job started early sat morning for us coaches, as Dominic Dunne was called up in the sandy reserves we had to try and find a replacement and fast, we turned to the club celebrity in Ricky Muscat straight from some night club and with much persuasion we were back to a list of 21. The game started just how we played when first gamer Drew Mitchell took a mark and received a 50mt penalty to bring him to point blank range.....well apparently not for a nervous Drew lol, but the boys rallied and took us to a quarter time lead of 32 points. It was about then, that the day turned sour for us losing Travis Johns, with what we thought was a dislocated shoulder and then Ian Box with the same injury. The boys in the midfield in Lovell, Kurt, A mac and Wellsy who set up the lead in the first, foun14-Jan-2008 5:10 PMhere buts off. Then we lost our skipper Boof and for the first time in our coaching caree, we had no bench to play with. Half time seen our lads behind by 3 points but we were defiantly still in the contest.

After half time on a very sapping 27 degree day and no bench to rotate through. Our boys ran out of legs and where left standing still almost, by a rampet and a very much improved yarraville/seddon outfit. They banged on the goals and the final margin blew out to 65 points. Our boys had experienced the pace of A grade football for the first time. Some big positives to come out of the game for us, where first game player's like Matthew Krual and Drew Mitchell, who impressed us with there performance. Brad Philpott, showed with some fitness under his belt, anything could happen. Craig Wells had plenty of the ball to prove he is going to be a big plus for the hawks this year. And some of our old fav's showed the pace of rise in footy shouldn't be a worry in Innella, Lovell, Tietze, Draper. Bring on spotty and round 2
